This annual celebration honors the tens of thousands of men and women in North America who provide and maintain the infrastructure and services collectively known as public works and serves as a reminder of the importance of public works in the community. Subject: PET VACCINATION, LICENSING AND MICROCHIP CLINIC
A Pet Licensing and Low-Cost Pet Vaccination and Microchip Clinic will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the upper picnic area at Hesse Park, 29301 Hawthorne Boulevard in Rancho Palos Verdes.
Representatives from the County of Los Angeles Animal Care and Control Department will be on site to help process dog licenses and Southern California Veterinary Vaccine Clinic personnel will administer low cost vaccinations for cats and dogs. Microchip services will also be available for cats and dogs.
Please bring CASH for vaccines and microchips, and cash or checks for pet licensing.
Owners applying for a new license must bring a copy of a valid rabies vaccination certificate and a copy of animal sterilization (to be eligible for the discounted license fee). Any pet owner may renew or apply for a new dog license via the Internet at anytime. The County Animal Care and Control website address is http://animalcare.lacounty.gov.
