EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS WATCH |
The
Emergency Preparedness Committee advises and assists the City Council
and staff to ensure that the City of Rancho Palos Verdes develops
and maintains a high state of readiness to respond to a wide variety
of emergencies and disasters.
| CONTACTING THE EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS COMMITTEE VIA EMAIL |
The Emergency
Preparedness Committee generally meets on the 3rd Thursday of every
month at 7 p.m. in the Community Room at City Hall. The most effective
manner to communicate with the Committee is to send an e-mail message
to epc@rpv.com by 5:30 pm on the Thursday before the scheduled meeting. By doing
this, the written comments will be included with the Staff Report
(for agenda items) or with the agenda packet (for non-agenda items),
which the Committee members receive before the scheduled meeting.
This provides the Committee with the opportunity to review the comments
before the next meeting. Written comments or e-mail messages submitted
to the Department after 5:30 pm on Thursday before the meeting will
be distributed to the Committee at the meeting. All e-mail messages
sent to the epc@rpv.com address are
automatically forwarded to each Committee member’s private e-mail
address at the time the message is received at the City.
